Elliestration is the brain child of London-based illustrator Heloise (a.k.a. Ellie) O'Donoghue.

Ellie originally studied contemporary dance at Laban Conservatoire of Dance, before injury left her in search of a more, well, stationary creative outlet (ho ho). This search took her first to Central Saint Martins, where she studied Graphic Communication Design, before going on to do an MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

Ellie now works as an author/ illustrator for One Third Stories Ltd., as well as freelancing on private illustration, graphic design and mural commissions. She has worked as a model-maker for animation (see an example of her origami puffins for Moleskine in action here), and was a regular contributing illustrator for STEW Magazine for Curious Kids until its closure in 2016.
